The University of Nebraska Medical Center, based in Omaha (just 45 minutes south) has decided to expand its teaching hospital, and they've funded the brand new St. Mary's Medical Center in the small, neighboring town. The new hospital is state of the art, and expected to be one of the top care centers focused on teaching in the nation. Students and doctors are pouring in from all parts of the world - and Tekamah couldn't be more excited.
