Amber smiled. She had finally found a nice secluded spot, far away from every one. It was even high up, in a tree. She would be safe here. no one would find her. right...right. I mean who in their right mind would look in a tree. Pulse to get there you had to clime almost to the top. Pulse it was covered by trees
Amber had used old two by fours to crate the floor of her camp. It wasn't vary big. In fact if she rolled over while sleeping she might fall out, if it wasn't for the guard rail she had put up.
Amber looked up from the ground and smiled. She was proud of herself. She had learned how to build things by watching others. The others were mostly techies in plays. Amber had always been nice to the techies, they were important, without them the cast would be standing on stage in darkness with no clothes or makeup, and with some of them that would be disturbing. Especially some of the hoffers (aka dancers.) Though now that she thought of it some of the guys wouldn't care, but it might have been harder to get them to remember their lines.
With that thought Amber Begin to clime up to her new home singing softly to herself.

The light whistle of the wind went through the trees. Eyes we're piercing through the thick brush. These piercing eyes were focused on something...tasty. He tried to move in as close as he could. One wrong move could ruin the whole day. Blaze decided to go hunting. He needed food right now. A couple of days without food made someone go insane. Well, Blaze didn't need anymore insane anyways. He moved in closer, then he heard the lightness of a twig snap.
With that there was heavy feet moving. The deer had taken off. With a man right behind it. His blue-gray eyes looking around for the right move. His sword drawn, he went in for the kill. A large leap, and a miss. Blaze quickly rolled to his feet. Sheathing his sword and a frown on his face. He got up and spun his Desert Eagle out. Aimed the poor sucker down. The loud bang of the gun shot echoed throughout the place.
Blaze smiled as he walked up to the deer. He we drew his sword and started to poke at it. Okay good it was dead

Amber nearly screamed when the gun went off. For what felt like the millionth time she held back memories. She focused on the man approximately 10 feet below her. he was tall, really tall. He had short brown hair and looked strong. It was kinda....what had the writer of that one book...the uglies...called it...oh yeah, worry causing. Amber debated for a few moments. should she go down and talk to him or not. yes no yes no yes no yes......no.........yes. As it turned out boredom won. Amber was easily bored. But just as a precaution she took out the knife she hid in her boot. then she got up her courage and yelled down, "Hey!" then jumped. well first she climbed a little lower then jumped. She landed in a crouch position on the balls of her feet and her finger tips. "Don't you ever scare me like that again! I thought I was being shot at!" she said standing up strait and looking the guy in the eyes. He had blueish gray eyes. Amber kept glaring into them. In between them the dead dear still laid. Blood oozed out of the bullet wound. She looked down at it. "Nice shot." she commented.

Looking down upon the dead deer. Blaze smiled. It was food. Food was good. It all made its own little circle. Wasn't the ecosystem awesome? Well sometimes it was. Though, something caught his ears. It was a female voice. Blaze eyes move around. Looking for the source of the voice. And then, it like she had fallen from the heavens. The bright haired girl looked like she was having fun. "Hi." Blaze said with a smirk. Well, it wasn't everyday a girl fell from the sky was it? Well only in guys dreams, but hey it could happen, right? Okay, enough day dreaming. Blaze kept his little smirk and just laughed. His eyes met hers. Blaze's first question. Why was such a pretty girl out here? This place was...dead. His eyes flickered around. "I'll try not to." Blaze moved his eyes down to his catch. He was proud of this one. It would feed him for at least four days. "Thank you." Blaze replied. Bringing his gun, blowing the tip and sliding it back in his pocket. He kicked the deer over onto its back. Poking it several times again. His sword making little stabs, letting the blood pop out every poke. "Hungry?" Blaze asked. He was hungry, she might of been too. Who knew?

Amber looked at the guy for a second, he was smirking. She hadn't expected that. She wondered for a second weather or not to take his offer, she was hungry, but she had her own food. but this guy was cute, but she didn't know him, you had to be careful now. Still..."Um...sure." she said, her Irish accent as obvious as the nose on her face. She looked down at the dear. Then glanced up-wards at her new home. She wondered if the guy had seen it. She hoped not, she didn't want EVERY ONE knowing where she slept that was asking for trouble. "My name is Amber by the way. Who are you?" she asked. Amber couldn't help but smile at the oddity of the situation. Around them the world had gone mad, then self imploded, forcing people into a second dark ages, and still she could notice how hot a guy was. I mean you'd think after all she had been through she would have stopped caring, or at least stopped noticing. But no, threw it all she had managed to keep that part of her that liked and appreciated hot guys. This was almost to funny. one day she'd have to tell some one of this.

Blaze just smiled. Looking down at the deer that laid there. He didn't know what part to eat first. His eyes moved on every edge of the deer. He hated choosing what to eat. It was pissing him off. Though, he noticed the girl staring at him. He continued to smile. "Names Blaze." He repiled lightly. He then just decided he decided just to cut the leg. It had enough meat and stuff. Moving his blade threw the light bone of the deer. Blood spewing out of the now three legged deer. Sliding his blade around it, skinning it.
"You got a fire handy?" Blaze asked. Holding the deer leg, he started to cut the muscle off the leg. He then did this with all the legs. Damn things never had enough meat on them. He just couldn't wait until he took that thing home. He would feast for a while. The orphan kids we're going to be very happy when they see Blaze walking down the street with this large deer. He couldn't wait to eat this deer. Deer on an open fire was the best way to eat it. Unless you decided to make some deer jerky. Blaze would love some deer jerky now.

Amber shook her head. She was still holding the knife she had got out for safety purposes. She did have matches that she only used for cooking. She didn't like fire any other time. "Hold on." She said and sliding the knife back in her boot she started to climb. She was good at climbing. When she finally got up to where her camp was she slid the pack of matches into her pocket then climbed down. She probably looked like some strange evolved monkey but she liked heights and climbing.
She got back to the ground and tossed blaze the matches, then helped herself to some meat.
"normally I just Dry my meat and make jerky out of it so there should be a lot in there." she said. Amber had learned how to make jerky from a friends dad. He had basically taken her under his wing after discovering what Ambers home life was like. Cleaning up after her drunk of a mom, watching as she brought strange men home almost every night. He took care of her, let her basically live at his house when ever she just didn't want to go home, because what person in their sane mind would want to go home to that.

Letting the blade slide through the skin and muscle of what was once a deer. His sword now covered in blood. The smell of it was kind of dence since there was a lot of blood oozing out. Blaze would clean this up soon. He didn't want some crazy animal to come and attack. That would suck. Espically since Amber lived right up the tree. At least she was safe from what would come. Right, okay well maybe. You never knew what animals could do.
Though sound of amber landing on the ground caught Blaze's attention. His hand stuck out, catching the book of matches instantly. "Thanks" He said as he caught them. Turning back to the deer. He aimed his sword towards the deers head, cuttimg it right off, then slicing off the tail. All he had was left was the whole body itself. Turning his head bakc at Amber, he just smiled "Jerky is always awesome." He replied.
He looked at a spot on ground, where all the blood was now laying. He swung his sword at the spot, Cleaning all the blood off it in one fast swing. The pile of blood was only made bigger. Now, here was the trick. He needed something flammable, along with some wood. And something to cook over. Blaze really hoped Amber had some of that stuff. He should of asked for some of it when she went to go get the matches.

Amber smiled at him. "I'm thinking we'll need some wood." she said. With that she started looking around gathering up pieces of wood to set fire. "So..." she said as she came back her Irish accent as plane as ever. "Where are you from any way? As you can probably guess I'm from Ireland." she said with a smirk. She began arranging the wood in a way that would allow the twigs and chunks of nearly dead tree to burn easily. There was a lot of nearly dead trees at the moment. the bombs had seen to that. That and radiation, pulse the never ending flow of people running threw and out of the woods, most of the time for their own life, for fear of enemy army's or sometimes just civilians. Amber was sure that if these trees could talk they would tell several depressing stories of how the war effected not only humans, but the entire world. All the forest, because apparently humans couldn't leave the environment alone. It wasn't enough that they destroyed themselves. Oh no they had to take the earth with them. If they couldn't rule the planet nothing could. Well now look what that idea had gotten them. Hell.
