Switzerland
Bern The seat of Swiss power, Bern used to be the capital of what used to be Switzerland. This run-down city is probably the nicest place on the planet at the moment, but that's not saying much. At least no atomic bombs were dropped here.
Zurich Zurich used to be the largest city in Switzerland. It's still the highest populated, but it's not like people have many choices of where to live.

The Alps The Alps aren't destroyed, and their a nice place to live, except for the snow part. Hardly anyone has the equipment and stores to live in the snow these days.

South Africa
Gauteng Gauteng is located right at the heart of South Africa. It has the largest population in the country, as it was one of the places with less damage.

Mpumalanga Mpumalanga is the second largest populed province in South America, sitting right next to Gauteng. There is more damage here than Guateng, however.

KwaZulu-Natal KwaZulu-Natal is located on the outskirts of South Africa. It has the most destruction than the other provinces, and obviously a denser population.

United States of America
Kansas (2 sub-boards) Since the end of the war, Kansas has become the third most-populated place in the world, as all the cities on the edges of the States were destroyed and people driven inland.
Alaska (2 sub-boards) Alaska is one of the states with the smaller populations. By far, its the coldest place to live in the United States. However, with less than 600,000 people, there isn't as much damage to this state as to others.
Nebraska (2 sub-boards) Nebraska sits right above Kansas. Being in the center of the U.S.A., it's one of the safer places. Well, as safe as you can get these days.

South Dakota (2 sub-boards) South Dakota, sitting near the outskirts of the U.S., received quite a bit more damage than the other states. However, with the Missouri River flowing through the state, it has a better chance for food than most places.

Utah (2 sub-boards) Utah is one of the more dense population states. It's your average place to stay, after the war. But watch out for the bears...

Other Places
Easter Island Out in the Pacific, Easter Island remained relatively intact during the war. However, it's very hard to get to, as most sea and air crafts were destroyed during the war.
