Plus, they don't know eachother that well yet, so she couldn't blame him for that. "If that's what he wanted, I guess you wouldn't be able to stop him anyway," she responded. By the way that Preston said his brother went to live with his 'buddy', she figured that it was a guy. But, honestly, she didn't think anything of it. There was nothing wrong with gay people in her mind.
"I'll agree with you on that. I try to avoid protein shakes and all that kind of stuff," she said, pausing for a moment afterward. "... Steak... and peanut butter? Oh, not to forget, there were also candy stuck on the steak?... Very appetizing," she said with sarcasm easily heard in her voice. "Well, what you ate then can't be that different from what you eat now, right?" Sure, conditions were a lot better before and even during the beginning of the war, but the food that she ate didn't change that much. ~*~
